This weekend, the Acupuncture Clinic of Boulder, Inc. had the privilege of working with rescue horses at Colorado Horse Rescue (CHR) to do team exercises through a program called Lead Change. A big “thank you” to Shawna English at Colorado Horse Rescue for teaching us about horses, and ourselves.
Each year in Colorado alone, 6000 horses need help. CHR has the acreage and staff to support 60 horses at a time. Many of them are rehabilitated and find new forever homes. If you are looking for a horse, consider CHR. If you have time or money to put towards something, consider CHR. They are a great, incredibly professional organization. I was really impressed with the property, care, and skill of all the volunteers and staff.
