Express treatments are 40-minute sessions designed specifically for returning patients. They’re ideal for those with a busy schedule who are looking for a quick “tune-up” or want to address one or two specific concerns. These sessions are also a great option for patients who may not have time to commit to full-length treatments multiple times a week.

Because these treatments are shorter in duration, they are offered at a reduced cost. If you’re seeking a full 60–80 minute appointment or need to discuss more complex health concerns, please book one of our regular treatment sessions.

Express treatments take place in our comfortable Community Room and follow a set “menu” format. You’ll indicate the general concerns you’d like addressed, without the need for a comprehensive intake. These appointments must be booked less than 24 hours in advance through our online portal. For example: If you were interested in an appointment for 5 p.m. tomorrow, you would book it at 5:01 p.m. today).

Please note: Our scheduling system cannot restrict when appointments are made. Any Express treatment booked more than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full rate of $79.

Before booking, please log in to our portal to ensure your Consent for Treatment form is up to date (must be within four months of your last visit).

Important: Express treatments cannot be submitted to insurance.

Our Cancellation Policy:

The Acupuncture Clinic of Boulder, Inc. requires 24 hours (business day) notice for cancellations.  If less than twenty-four hours notice is given, the patient will be charged the full price of their visit.  Your scheduled appointment time is reserved just for you, and we frequently have a waitlist. We try not to overbook appointment times in order to provide excellent acupuncture care and ensure we have sufficient time to adequately treat our patients.

This policy allows other patients the opportunity to schedule in the time slot you are unable to keep. Therefore if you are unable to come, you will be charged as if you had attended the appointment.  This charge is your financial responsibility and you will be required to pay this cancellation charge before your next scheduled appointment.  We are unable to bill your insurance for missed appointments.
