Our Team

Erin Pass is a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed in the state of Colorado. She is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado. Erin considers herself a general practitioner who works with clients to help them reach their health goals. One of her favorite aspects of care is the intricate fabric that is woven by learning about someone’s life and working with them at different times on their journey. Erin has had the pleasure of working with both men and women to conceive children, support people going through cancer therapies, assist athletes with their sports performance as well as addressing acute injuries. She has also helped people greatly reduce or alleviate their chronic pain. Optimal health always includes finding ways to reduce systemic inflammation and a full intake is done to assess digestion, sleep, and other aspects of health. A fundamental tenet at the Acupuncture Clinic of Boulder is to bridge the gap between allopathic and eastern medicine. She holds hospital privileges at BCH and works with clients prior to and after surgeries to manage pain and speed healing, and to assist in labor and delivery.
In her free time, Erin enjoys camping, skiing, photography, travel, and yoga. She begins each day – rain, snow, or shine, hiking in the Boulder Foothills, with her dog, Oscar.

Ariel Kallenbach is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist at the Acupuncture Clinic of Boulder, known for her thoughtful, grounded approach and deep commitment to women’s health and whole-body healing.
She earned her Master of Acupuncture with a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, completing over 3,000 hours of clinical and academic training. Ariel is licensed in Colorado and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, which informs her clear, compassionate, and collaborative style of care.
Ariel has advanced training and mentorship in OB/GYN and reproductive health and supports women through all stages of life. Her clinical focus includes:
- Fertility support and IVF/IUI preparation
- Hormonal imbalance, PMS, and PCOS
- Menstrual health and cycle regulation
- Perimenopause and menopause support
She creates individualized treatment plans using targeted acupuncture protocols and customized Chinese herbal formulas, blending current research with the time-tested wisdom of Chinese medicine. In addition to women’s health, Ariel treats a wide range of concerns, including:
- Chronic pain and musculoskeletal issues
- Digestive health
- Chronic fatigue
- Stress and anxiety
- Sleep disturbances
Patients appreciate her calm presence, careful listening, and ability to help them feel both understood and supported as they work toward lasting changes.
Ariel’s passion for Chinese medicine grew from her own healing journey. After struggling with chronic fatigue and hormonal imbalance, she discovered that acupuncture offered something conventional care could not—care focused on restoring balance and vitality, even when lab results fell short. That experience continues to shape how she practices today.
Originally from New Jersey, Ariel moved to Colorado in 2019, drawn by the mountains and outdoor lifestyle. Outside the clinic, she enjoys rock climbing, birding (with nearly 600 species spotted and counting), reading, and spending time with her partner and loved ones.
Ideal for patients who:
- are seeking support for women’s health, fertility, or hormonal balance
- are navigating PCOS, PMS, cycle irregularity, perimenopause, or menopause
- want thoughtful, individualized care rather than a one-size-fits-all approach
- appreciate a calm, grounding treatment style
- feel stressed, depleted, or out of balance and want support for fatigue, sleep, or digestion
- value a practitioner who listens closely and explains the treatment plan clearly
- are interested in integrating acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for whole-body healing

Noah Soble, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., MAcCHM, is a board-certified acupuncturist practicing in Colorado. He earned his Masters of Acupuncture with a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine, completing over 3,000 hours of clinical and academic training. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences.
Noah is known for his thoughtful, steady, and detail-oriented approach to care. Patients who appreciate a calm presence, clear explanations, and a methodical treatment style often find Noah is an excellent fit.
Noah has a particular strength in working with chronic pain, musculoskeletal issues, sports medicine, internal medicine, stress-related tension, and nervous system regulation. His treatments are designed to support the body’s ability to resent and heal, helping patients feel more grounded, less reactive, and better able to recover. Patients frequently comment on Noah’s ability to listen carefully, connect patterns across symptoms, and tailor treatments with precision. He is also certified in Dry Needling and enjoys treating a wide range of medical conditions.
In addition to acupuncture, Noah is trained in Tuina (Chinese medical massage), which he frequently integrates into treatment. Tuina allows for precise manual work on muscles, fascia, joints, and channels, helping to break up tension patterns, improve mobility, and enhance the effectiveness of acupuncture, especially for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
Outside the clinic, Noah enjoys snowboarding, hiking, cooking, reading, and practicing Qi Gong and yoga—and occasionally doing absolutely nothing. He is continually exploring new ways to deepen his understanding of East Asian medicine and its role in modern healthcare.
Ideal for patients who:
- Have stubborn or long-standing pain
- Are active, athletic, or physically demanding on their bodies
- Want measurable progress
- Stress, tension, or nervous system dysregulation
- A calm, attentive practitioner with a measured approach
- Thoughtful, individualized treatment plans
