After much research, the clinic recently decided to upgrade its air filters. Blue Air, filters are one of two companies ranked by Consumer Reports with a score of “Excellent” for particle removal at both high and low speed air filtration settings. Their machines have also been independently verified by three different bodies: the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) for performance and Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR), by ENERGY STAR for low energy consumption, and rated safe for ozone by the California Air Resources Board
The machines have two filtration technologies that effectively remove 99.97% of airborne particles, trap viruses, micro-plastics, bacteria, dust, pollen, pet dander, and smoke; they have activated carbon in the filters which removes odors, gases and VOC’s (Volatile organic compounds).
